Aspects of Health Under Our Control

The older we get, the more important it is to stay healthy.  It’s widely agreed that the keys to good health are moderately vigorous exercise, good nutrition, regular preventive screenings, a supportive social network, mental challenges, good sleep habits, and other factors at least partially under our control — like having a positive, optimistic outlook on life.

This is mostly true for everyone. Having family around can be helpful or unhelpful.  For the most part, staying healthy is a challenge for everyone individually.  Since there is seemingly endless information available on the web, some primarily for old people, the topics below are treated briefly.
