I’ve faulted AARP for its almost exclusive focus on “active adults” and its lack of attention to the needs of seniors without family. But AARP also provides numerous services for seniors of all ages, including a website loaded with information, discounts of all sorts on products ranging from hotels to health care, and direct services, especially its program that assists seniors in preparing their tax returns.
